Microsoft Windows Vista Operating Systems maintained their status as the second preferred operating systems at 14.44% market-share. Other operating systems accounted for 9.52% of the market with non-XP and non-Vista Microsoft Windows operating systems making up 4.23% of the market while non-Microsoft operating systems accounted for just 5.29% of the market. Web-Browser Market Share

The Microsoft Inernet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0 browsers dropped slightly but continued their dominance of the web-browsers market with a commanding 71.38% (but down 3.55%) of the market-share. Mozilla Firefox browsers (1.5 and 2.0) are fast catching up improving another 3.54% last month to capture 22.24% of the web-surfing tool market. Other browsers, which include Opera, Netscape and proprietary browsers of mobile devices and game consoles, combined to account for about 6.4% of the market.
